On November 12 – 14, 2019, there will be an official visit of the Bydgoszcz Sister City delegation headed by Mr. Michail Sztybel, Deputy President of the city

The head of our Polish sister city, Mr. Michal Sztybel, is not for the first time in Kremenchuk.

Mr Michal Sztybel visited Kremenchuk as a deputy of the city council, an international election observer.

Mr. Lukasz Krupa, Director of the City Promotion and International Cooperation Bureau, arrives with the Deputy President of the city.

Polish friends will meet with Mayor Vitalii Maletskyi and other city leaders, visit the Institute for Development of Kremenchuk, Kremenchuk National University named after Mikhail Ostrohradskyi and World Peace at the Park of Peace.

One of the important addresses of the Polish delegation’s visit program in Kremenchuk is the palliative medicine department of the Kremenchuk city “Pravoberezhna” clinic. It was with the support of the city hall of Bydgoszcz and the Hospice “Dom Sue Ryder” that the department was created: Polish colleagues trained Ukrainian specialists and donated special equipment for the palliative medicine department for free.

Polish guests will meet the winners of the “Ukrainian Children Draw Bydgoszcz” Drawing Contest. 126 students from Kremenchuk, Lviv, Dnipro, Konotop, Kyiv and other cities participated in the competition. The children painted a beautiful Polish city, learning about its history and culture.

Children will be awarded with diplomas and encouraging prizes from the mayors of Kremenchug and Bydgoszcz.
