The 19th of August was marked with the Ukrainian and Vietnamese cooperation.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Ukraine His Excellency Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan visited Kremenchuk in August 19, 2019.

There was an official meeting of the head of the city Vitalii Maletskyi with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Ukraine Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan in the administration of Kremenchuk city council.

The meeting was conducted under participation of city council secretary Iurii Hrytsenko, the first vice-mayor Volodymyr Pelypenko, vice-mayors Olha Usanova and Dmytro Kravchenko, and director of UE Institute for Development of Kremenchuk Andrii Melnyk.

The Vietnamese party of the meeting was also represented by the Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Ukraine Ms. Nguyen Hoa Khanh.

Vitalii Maletskyi thanked to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Ukraine Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan for finding time in his busy schedule and visiting Kremenchuk.

The head of the city stressed that he was sure that the first visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Ukraine to our city will become the beginning of fruitful bilateral relations between Vietnamese people and citizens of Kremenchuk. He briefly outlined the social-economic and industrial potential of Kremenchuk, told about consistent manufacturing traditions of the city, operation of new business entities that despite their “young” age are confidently entering international markets.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Ukraine Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan in his turn stressed the Vietnamese interest in cooperation with Ukraine, particularly with Kremenchuk.

Mr. Ambassador noted that before visiting the city he had read many information about the city and was pleasantly surprised that today Kremenchuk is actively developing, it is both an industrial and cultural center of Poltava region.

Mr. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam stated that his country was ready to develop bilateral relations with Ukraine, in particular, he outlined promising vectors of such cooperation that could be related to humanitarian and economic spheres of activity.

With special warmth, Mr. Ambassador spoke about visits of delegations of young Kremenchuk diplomats to the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. These meetings have become traditional. Young people learn a lot about Vietnam, its people, traditions, culture, and economy.

The issues of cooperation in the field of education, culture and youth diplomacy were discussed during a meeting between Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Ukraine Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan and the Director of UE Institute for Development of Kremenchuk (IDK) Andrii Melnyk.

A meeting with Kremenchuk industrialists and entrepreneurs in IDK was an important part of Ambassador’s visit. The meeting was conducted under representatives of the Kremenchuk branch of Poltava regional CCI, KrAZ Holding Company, PrJSC Kredmash, RPE Techvagonmash, Bag Filter Factory Ltd, and other.

The meeting was conducted by IDK director Andrii Melnyk and director of Kremenchuk branch of Poltava regional CCI Viktor Hynkut.

The meeting over, Mr. Ambassador and members of the Vietnamese delegation accompanied by IDK director Andrii Melnyk visited the World Peace Gong.
